Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says the United States could be headed for another Great Depression like that of the 1930s if Congress doesn't act on the financial crisis.
Everyone seems so down on McCain and Palin. I ask you, why all the questions for her? What about Obamas running mate? Has he any experience in foreign affairs? At least McCain has served his country and has suffered the results of that, Palins own son is serving, that speaks a great deal to me. What experience does Obama and his running mate bring to the table. Yes, folks are ready for change, but you'd better watch out, some changes may not be to our benefit. Realize that due to the Americans being basically a greedy nation and a free spending one, we are now in trouble. This started a long time ago. Everyone wants a free handout. Look at all the grants that are given out, look at all the welfare, and alot of that goes to people who can and won't work. No president, regardless of who, can get us out of this mess, until we, as a whole nation, are willing to get back to the basics and work for what we have, and quit pacifying the freeloaders. I just would like to see Palin get the same chance as the other vice president hopeful. Why is everyone dogging her, why do we not hear anything about him and/or his past experience? Think about it people, and pray about it, God is who this country was founded on and it is in God that we should trust this election too.
Thankyou Palen "the pain" for telling me something I forsaw 2 yrs ago. Where were you; out huntin and gutting a moose?" As a woman I would like to tie McCains "special" little part into one of those "girl scout knots" i learned years ago just for having the audacity to select Sarah Palen as his VP. I am so impressed if I was an Idiot Savant, but then again they are brilliant in specific areas. So far PALEN is adept at having children(I did that well too)huntin and killin( I can cook wild game) looking attractive when "out and about"(me too) but sounding intelligent and ready to "take over on Day One" is not what she is about. I am intelligent and smart enough to know it takes a whole lot more than being a (really lousy)mayor of 5,500 people (at that time) of Wasilla Alaska and then a brand new Governor of a small population with no foreign policy experience whatsoever and BAM!! YOU ARE NOW THE POSSIBLE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. MCCAIN IS SO DAMN OLD AND DEMENTED THAT SHE WOULD HAVE TO TAKE OVER. I CAN'T SEE HER DEALING WITH CHANGING HIS DIAPERS AS WELL AS HER BABYS. I CAN SEE IT ALL NOW. PALEN TURNING THE OVAL OFFICE PRESIDENTIAL DESK INTO A GIANT CHANGING TABLE FOR HER LITTLE ONE AND MCCAIN. IT'S OBVIOUS THE MAN CAN'T REMEMBER SQUAT FROM ONE DAY TO NEXT SO BOWEL AND BLADDER CONTROL SHOULD GO SOON. HE IS THE MOST DISGUSTING SUBHUMAN PIECE OF GARBAGE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS PUT UP FRONT SINCE BABY BUSH. I DIDN'T THINK IT POSSIBLE TO OUT DO THAT ONE! We have a brilliant man in Obama and a VP with decades of foreign policy experience so i am wondering why there are sooooooo many morons in this country that would vote for a 72 yr old has been. Hes not just too damn old to be president he is too damn stupid. I am sick of hearing about his war hero status. My father was a real war hero and he never bragged, but then again he avoided capture and actually did something in the war besides sit in a pig pen as a POW FOR 5 YRS! i BELIEVE THAT IS CALLED PLAIN UNLUCKY. i GUESS THE POOR SAPS(WHO HAVEN'T BEEN CHARGED YET) IN GUANTANOMO CUBA COULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT. tHEY ARE ALL HEROES. tHEY HAVE BEEN LOCKED UP AND TORTURED FOR YEARS.!MOVE OVER MCCAIN;YOU'VE GOT COMPETITION!
